There's a time for living
Time keeps on flying
Think you're loving baby
But all you're doing is crying

Can you feel
Are those things real
Look at your game, girl
Look at your game, girl

What a mad delusion
living in that confusion
Frustration and doubt
Can you ever live without the game

The sad, sad game
Mad game
Just to say love's enough
If it can't be true
Oh, you can tell those lies baby but you're only fooling you

Can you feel
Are those things real
Look at your game, girl
Look at your game, girl

Can you feel
I know these feeling ain't real
Then you better stop tryin'
Or you're gonna play cryin'
Stop tryin'
Or you're gonna play cryin'
Stop tryin'

That's the game
Sad, sad game
Mad game
Sad game

(spoken)
Thanks, Chas and Jack

    Song Meaning

I think it's about a girl who is in an abusive relationship but still tells herself she loves the guy who beats her. That's just waht I got out of it, I could be wrong, afterall Manson is a complete psycho.

I have to mention that Charles Manson used to be an artist, before he started murdering everyone... Not that I approve of his actions, but to say that he's not an artist would be a lie... He did write some of the early songs for the Beach Boys... Only when he murdered the La Bianca's en the Tate's, he was taken off of the credits on the albums... I own the one album the he recorded solo... I can't say that I really like it, but I must say that I can appreciate the irony of some of his song titles; like 'Don't do anything illegal' and 'People Say I'm No Good' .... For people that are interested in Charles Manson; take a look at this site; law.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/manson/manson.html If you are know with songs of the Beatles (especially in the White Album-era) you should check out Charles Mansons interpretation of the Beatles songs (go to ; 'the Beatles' influence) It's pretty twisted.....

He's released an album (look for LIE: The Love & Terror Cult), so technically I believe he should be considered an artist/musician.

    My Interpretation

I know this song belongs to charles manson but I prefer to comment in the cover of gnr.. I think this is a song about a depressed girl that isnt really living her life, she must star living.

There probably aren't any Manson lyrics on this site because Manson wasn't an artist. ........... at least not in a musical sense......... .......and not in the eyes of most, anyways..........

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
