It's a feeling, I don't belong here
But a man's on the outside looking in, wondering who's in his old armchair
It's a feeling, you never belonged to me
First you're on the up 'n up, I only look down and see
Only look down and see
You're fighting me, you knew me, all desires
No lock or key can hide the truth you're keeping from me
You're fighting me, you knew me, all desires
No lock or key can hide the truth you're keeping from me
It's a feeling
But a man's on the outside looking in, wondering who's in his old armchair
It's a feeling, you never belonged to me
First you're on the up 'n up, I only look down and see
Only look down and see
You're fighting me, you knew me, all desires
No lock or key can hide the truth you're keeping from me
You're fighting me, you knew me, all desires
No lock or key can hide the truth you're keeping from me
It's a feeling

The video featured a lot of breakdancing, so that's what I think of when I hear this song. Otherwise, I really like the laid back mood of this song.
I've always loved the mood of this song. I'm sure the lyrics are vaguely about infidelity or lost love, but it's the music that's key. I can listen to this on endless repeat and never tire of it. It's a great yet almost unknown song.
I'm not aware of a video; it was not released as a single.
This is a wonderful song. Listening to it on a quality sound system is bliss....the strings, the subtle bassline, the guitar, the treble of the cymbals. I agree with Starquest, it must be about an old lover looking into what was once his/her home; "Wondering who's in his old armchair". This person is missing the life he/she once had. Why couldn't it last?
