We're takin' over
We have the truth
This is the mission to see it through
Don't point your finger
Not dangerous
This is our planet
You're one of us

We're sendin' out a major love
And this is our message to you (message to you)
The planets are linin' up
We're bringin' brighter days
They're all in line waitin' for you
Can't you see?
You're just another part of me

Out from a nation
I feel the truth
The final message we'll bring to you
There is no danger to feel the truth
So come again
We need you

We're sendin' out a major love
And this is our message to you (message to you)
The planets are linin' up
We're bringin' brighter days
They're all in line waitin' for you
So know the truth
You're just another part of me

We're sendin' out a major love
And this is our message to you (message to you)
The planets are linin' up
We're bringin' brighter days
They're all in line waitin' for you
Can't you see?
You're just another part of me
Another part of me

We're taking over
This is the truth, baby
Another part of me

I love Michael Jackson with an intensity that is so strong. Which is crazy because how can you love someone that isn't even alive? Someone that I've never even met? I just feel so much pity for him. Can you imagine having the entire world throwing such harsh labels upon you, such as a child molester? He didn't moleste any kids. I think in some ways he had the innocent mind of a child's. He couldn't imagine why people would see anything wrong with sleeping with kids in a bed because he was so innocent. He also stated in his book he loved how children don't lie. He had probably been lied to so many times in his life, that it was refreshin to be around really genuine people. I believe the media and the people who accused him of child molestation are partly at blame for his death. He could no longer deal with the stress of the world, so he turned to pills. R.I.P. MJ

I personally think the message in this song,is to show us that the time is near. jesus is coming with the truth. And michael is trying to share that message with us. And that there will be brighter days when the lord has come.

    My Interpretation

Michael like many artists are channels of communication between the universe and humanity. So this is a message from Universe to all humans. They, our space brothers, are saying that they will soon reveal themselves to us and will also join us. They are telling us to not be afraid, because they are not dangerous and they don´t want to harm us, on the contrary.

They are here on a mission that has to do with the great change that was predicted by so many as:Jesus, Edgar Cacey, Nostradamus, Mayan and Hopi cilvilization, etc. They are here to help us make the transition to a higher level of consciousness, to a new dimension. The message they are trying to convey, though the world does not understand, is that unconditional love is the foundation of the whole universe, because we are all branches of the same tree and ripples of the same ocean. There is no different species or races. We are all different expressions of the same Being, who on earth we call God.

---------------- My favourite MJ song. This was one of Michael's most positive songs that plays into his themes of not making assumptions about people you do not know anything about -read: Michael Jackson. Captain E.O. is win though.

The Spy
Doors, The
Like a lot of the other comments are saying, I think this mainly about voyeurism. If the song was about his girlfriend, then why would he use the word spy. If you are a spy it means you shouldn't be caught, that is kind of the whole point, and if you are a voyeur, the whole point of the pleasure you get from it, is the fact that the other people don't know you are watching them. See a bit of a connection there?

Ministry
Both as a standalone and as part of the DSOTS album, you can take this lyric as read. As a matter of public record, Jourgensen's drug intake was legendary even in the 1980s. By the late 90s, in his own words, he was grappling with massive addiction issues and had lost almost everything: friends, spouse, money and had nearly died more than once. "Dark Side of the Spoon" is a both funny & sad title for an album made by a musical genius who was losing the plot; and this song is a message to his fans & friends saying he knows it. It's painful to listen to so I'm glad the "Keith Richards of industrial metals" wised up and cleaned up. Well done sir.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
