Putting your trust into someone you care for just to crash and burn and you go back to them and get burned again. Sometimes it takes a little bit more then one time getting stabbed in the back to finally get the message through ya. It's happened to everyone I think. Decent song. Kudos to psychopath for putting the right lyrics in there. :x
@PoeticEulogy187 Your so Right, Just right on yes coming back to the people who you thought were your friends but aren't really interested in to anymore like they were before. STOP IT! Just stop it. Your only going to beat yourself more and wear yourself down. Focus on the people who wanted to connect to you but you didn't take time unfortunately and go to those ones. It seems like they really would want to take their time and see how your doing.
@PoeticEulogy187 I am talking about women. They can look so nice at first and want to be there for you but after awhile it can really be heartbreaking. Now there are some who really really wanted to connect with you but you didn't take the time because you were too interested in the ones that looked more beautiful and good that really weren't into you. When I listen to this song it reminds me of this situation of what I've gone through and now finally I manage to leave some ladies and focus on the ones who want to be there for me and I feel sane, happy and so much more relieved.
For me this song isn't about any relationships, like breaking up with boyfriends or girlfriends. This song is obviously about, his broken trust. To his parents, to the society. All those dreadful things, he has been through when he was a child (sexual abuse). That he doesn't want to commit the same faults again.(he has been addicted to alcohol as well) In my personaly opinion this song reminds me of a friend, who betrayed me, and how it really hurt me. That I can't trust her anymore. How I lost my faith to even trust anybody.

To me, this isn't just about being betrayed, that's much to shallow a thought for such a strong song. This song means so much more. To me, it describes a beaten child, a child who lived through a household that did nothing but beat and hurt them, the video only supports this, seeing as it stars a young child who looks sickly, and a bit scared at the beggining. To me, it seems that the fighting is a metaphor, he's trying to fight for his life and get out of the house, I'll explain with the lyrics. ^^
"I don't know who to trust no surprise." Most children can trust their parents, love their parents and such. This child isn't sure whether ot not he can. He's hurt by them, but he still loves them.
"Everyone feels so far away from me" He has no friends, no caring family, he's just alone, therefore, everyone is "far away".
"Heavy thoughts sift through dust and the lies" His parents probally told him they loved him either in public or when sober. And then when home or drunk, they hurt the child.
"Trying not to break" Whenabused, you really think the world is going to shatter, you really do.
"...but i'm so tired if the deceit" He's trying to keep it together, but this is a lot to take on for a youg child.

This song is fucking amazing....i love it..to me its like...starting over...which im trying to do right now in life...So Far this album sounds great i have all the songs...somehow ;-) but yeh....i give it a 8/10
