There are too many questions
There is not one solution
There is no resurrection
There is so much confusion

And the love profusion
You make me feel
You make me know
And the love vibration
You make me feel
You make it shine

There are too many options
There is no consolation
I have lost my illusions
What I want is an explanation

And the love profusion
You make me feel
You make me know
And the love direction
You make me feel
You make me shine
You make me feel
You make me shine
You make me feel

I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin

There is no comprehension
There is real isolation
There is so much destruction
What I want is a celebration

And I know I can feel bad
When I get in a bad mood
And the world can look so sad
Only you make me feel good

I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin

I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin

And the love profusion
You make me feel
You make me know
And the love intention
You make me feel
You make me shine
You make me feel
You make me shine
You make me feel

I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin
I got you under my skin

And I know I can feel bad
When I get in a bad mood
And the world can look so sad
Only you make me feel good

I don't think it's an atheist song, but the first stanza clearly rejects Christianity and criticizes the idea of "one true faith."

I agree that the lyrics are probably about Kaballah, the faith that gives Madonna comfort. But I suppose it could be about faith in something else entirely. Fantastic and underrated song either way.

I used to think madonna was vapid and frivolous. but while driving with some pot head friends and passively soaking up the smoke this song came on.

The you in "I've got you" is slurred to sound like 'chu And I jokingly thought to myself "it sounds slike she's saying jew" and I realised she was.

This song is about karbala, (Jewish occultism) Which is the latest obscure religion madonna has beomce involved in.

"There is no, Comprehension. There is real, Isolation."

" There are t-t-t-to many options. There is no, Consolation. I have lost, My illusions. What I want is an explanation."

this is clearly talking about the answers religion provides, anmd through karbala the world can make sense.

This song has an incredible double meaning.

Not sure if it's about God, it could be though; afterall Madonna did have a catholic upbringing. However I thought it was about her husband and finding refuge in him during hard times or when she "gets in a bad mood".

good lord madonna has a million songs. but i guess the fact that they are all different makes me love her even more. I doubt its about god. probably about husban or kids or something. great song
