So ya
Thought ya
Might like to
Go to the show

To feel the warm thrill of confusion
That space cadet glow
I've got some bad news for you, sunshine
Pink isn't well, he stayed back at the hotel
And they sent us along as a surrogate band
We're going to find out where you fans really stand

Are there any queers in the theater tonight?
Get 'em up against the wall (get them up)
Now, there's one in the spotlight
He don't look right to me
Then get him up against the wall (get them)

Now, that one looks Jewish
And that one's a coon
Who let all this riffraff into the room?
There's one smoking a joint
And another with spots

If I had my way, I'd have all of them shot

im sorry but youre retarded. ive run into other people that say, "hey this racist, they shouldnt be saying those things." Its a satire, he's singing out a character, from a different narrator, he's not Roger Waters. He's playing a bigot, its a concept album.

ugh, these lyrics are full of mistakes.... they really shouldn't be here. On The Wall their is a song called "In the Flesh" and a differents one called "In the Flesh?". Their is no "In the Flesh II"

Just go comment on "In the Flesh" , just incase though, here are the right lyrics

    My Interpretation

Seriously, this song is in the "crazy" part of the album where the main character Pink has gone insane, and he has been injected with some medicine by the doctor that is making him hallucinate. The whole thing about Nazism and racism is that he essentially becomes what killed his father in WWII: a fascist dictator like Hitler. It's supposed to be ironic and over the course of the next 2 songs ("Run Like Hell" and "Waiting for the Worms") he becomes exactly like Hitler before realizes what's happened to his mind and sets things right.

This is the song they sing in the movie The Wall, near the end when he goes all nazi.

    Very Good Movie.

This song is when his shows start become Neo-Nazi-esque political rallies, creating angry mobs. He has gone crazy behind his "wall". and believes himself to be a fascist dictator.

    1. IT'S NOT ROGER WATERS. IT'S A HALLUCINATION OF PINK AS AN ENGLISH HITLER.
    2. It's 'In The Flesh?', the ? is saying that he's not real
    3. Yes, it IS racist, THEY ARE TAKING THE FUCKING PISS OUT OF HITLER
