Uh, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh-uh (oh)
Uh, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh-uh (oh)

Check it out, goin' out on the late night
Lookin' tight, feeling nice, it's a cock fight
I can tell, I just know that it's going down
Tonight
At the door, we don't wait 'cause we know them
At the bar, six shots just beginnin'
That's when dickhead put his hands on me
But you see

I'm not here for your entertainment
You don't really wanna mess with me tonight
Just stop and take a second
I was fine before you walked into my life
'Cause you know it's over
Before it began
Keep your drink, just give me the money
It's just you and your hand tonight

Uh, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh-uh (oh)
Uh, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh-uh (oh)

Midnight, I'm drunk, I don't give a fuck
Wanna dance by myself, guess you're out of luck
Don't touch, back up, I'm not the one
Bye-bye
Listen up, it's just not happenin'
You can say what you want to your boyfriends
Just let me have my fun tonight
Aight?

I'm not here for your entertainment
You don't really wanna mess with me tonight
Just stop and take a second
I was fine before you walked into my life
'Cause you know it's over
Before it began
Keep your drink, just give me the money
It's just you and your hand tonight

Uh, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh-uh (oh)
Uh, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh-uh (oh) (break, break, break, break, break it down)

You're in the corner with your boys, you bet 'em five bucks
You'd get the girl that just walked in, but she thinks you suck
We didn't get all dressed up just for you to see
So quit spilling your drinks on me

You know who you are
High fivin', talkin' shit
But you're goin' home alone, aren't ya?

'Cause I'm not here for your entertainment (no)
You don't really wanna mess with me tonight
Just stop and take a second (just stop and take a second)
I was fine before you walked into my life
'Cause you know it's over (know it's over)
Before it began
Keep your drink, just give me the money
It's just you and your hand tonight (it's just you and your hand)
I'm not here for your entertainment (no, no, no)
You don't really wanna mess with me tonight
Just stop and take a second (just take a second)
I was fine before you walked into my life
'Cause you know it's over
Before it began
Keep your drink, just give me the money
It's just you and your hand tonight (yeah, no)

hah to me this is one of the best songs she has ever made.

i feel Pink made this song for all the ladies who are just trying to havfe fu nand keep on getting bugged and to all the gentlemen who just can't keep their thing in their pants. She's trying to say Fuck off I want to have by myself with my girlfriends and I am not going home with you now or ever so back off before I kick your ass.

kyleisgreat-yeah, I know why she dressed up, it's called sarcasm, maybe you should look it up. also it's a play on the male stereotype of what a "hot" woman looks like. there's a difference between humor and greed.

"I find it hilarious that she promotes woman thinking for themselves and not being objectified in life and in music videos and yet in the video for this song half the time shes jumping around in skimpy outfits, or little clothing." -kyleisgreat

A woman CAN be empowered and dress in sexy clothing at the same time, so long as it's her choice to dress that way and no one else's.

God, I completely felt this way last night at the bar I frequent. The crowd I go with, we were all hating the way our individual lives were going, but last night we put all of that aside and let loose.

Yes, we were dancing on the poles on the stage, but we were dancing for OURSELVES, not you. That's what Pink is trying to convey in this song, is that the speaker in this song is saying, I did not get dressed up to appear sexy to you; I got dressed up to make myself FEEL sexy...

We're here with our friends. Not to go home with some sleazy loser who says "you got a perdy smile."

VizeRechib- Some do go to clubs/bars to do that, but mainly girls are really annoyed when boys hit on them all the time. This song is trying to say that we're not all easy.

but yeah this song is FUNNNIIEEEEE. it's one of my FAVORITES, and it's really catchy.

I think we have to see things from both the male and female perspective here. Fair enough, guys who go out purely to pull and who are generally arrogant, womanising idiots deserve to be knocked back. Fair play to Pink for not falling for the selfish men who do this. But on the other hand, to me this is YET ANOTHER so-called 'Girl Power' song from a sassy female singer, who let's face it is reinforcing the stereotype about men in general, as being chauvinistic pigs. The fact is not all men are like this but the type of emo-loving teenage girl who Pink appeals to mostly will be lapping up these kind of lyrics, and many will take them too casually, perhaps pushing them towards sexism.

Too many rappers these days sing songs that are sexist towards women and too many female singers just sing about the same old garbage; Men hating, sex, and 'girl power.' For those with an open mind about music, who aren't just content with listening to the overplayed, mainstream stuff which the radio force-feeds you, check out the likes of the legendary Kate Bush and Tori Amos for proper, more sophisticated lyrics and a more intelligent and deep view of the male/female problem. Tori Amos herself was raped, and even then her lyrics don't come across as overly-critical towards men. She criticises men as well as women in her songs.

And one final point: I think many guys would agree with me here; Many females seem to have an almost unconscious desire to flirt with guys on a night out. Now if this is going to lead to something that both the guy and the girl want then there's nothing wrong with this at all. However, if it's done purely to 'trick' the guy and boost her ego, then this I'm afraid is pathetic. Some guys go out looking to pull, some don't, and the same applies to women. Let's be honest, many women who go on a night out dressed in next to nothing actually WANT to be pulled. On the other hand some just want the attention and of course some just want to have a good time. The main point here is that you have to see things from different perspectives.

    1) This song isn't about guys picking up girls in bars - this is about guys who touch girls before they say hello to them, who don't take 'no' for an answer, who are condescending and assume that if they just push it a bit more the girl will give in.

    2) Read the damn lyrics - "We didn't get all dressed up just for you to see". Sometimes girls just like to wear short skirts and makeup because it makes them feel good, not because they're out for some stranger to grab their ass.

Reading these comments reminded me why I tend to be with girls instead of men despite being bisexual. Grow up, little boys.

Its a great song and it has a lot of 'girls shouldn't take crap from men' attitude, however I also interpret it as having strong feminist undertones and that she is in a way singing about hating men (Misandry), which is disappointing really because some men have more on their mind than a one-nighter.
