Some day you will find the place
It's the place where love takes over hate
Then you'll see all the things you do
Affect everyone around you

Then you'll see there's no fear at all
You held my hand, we took down that wall
As I looked at you with nothing to say
Now I understand why you pushed me away

I looked for and now I see
That the only one I needed was me

shiro has to get a life. anyway, this song is pretty complicated even if it`s so short and concise. but this is what i think: she found a guy who made her happy, butthe guy wanted to let her know that not only him can make her happy.

i wish this would be the last song she sings ever. she sucks, she's stupid, she's a poser, and she's fat.

LiLVENDETTAx3, have you ever considered that the fact that disliking a certain "artist" and voicing your opinion doesn't mean you have no life? And if you really think this song is complicated... you should read the lyrics again. Because it ain't. Want complicated lyrics? Go listen to something like Dream Theater. Now those guys are true lyricists. And they even write the lyrics themselves!

As a side note, I would like to add that if you think Hilary is hot, then you have a terrible taste for women.

I just really wish this was her last song. She should conform with acting. At least you can choose whether you'll watch her movie or not, and not get bombarded with her "music" every time you turn on a TV or radio.

yeah, don't call her fat, or she'll stop eating again, lose more weight and look even more like a damn skeleton.

    . . . .which I guess would be good. . .she'd eventually die.

    Song Meaning

I think this song means , she was with a boy and then he pushed her away. She then came to a realization where there's no hate for this guy who broke her heart anymore. That there is nothing to worry about because she realized the only one she needed was her self.

Ministry
Both as a standalone and as part of the DSOTS album, you can take this lyric as read. As a matter of public record, Jourgensen's drug intake was legendary even in the 1980s. By the late 90s, in his own words, he was grappling with massive addiction issues and had lost almost everything: friends, spouse, money and had nearly died more than once. "Dark Side of the Spoon" is a both funny & sad title for an album made by a musical genius who was losing the plot; and this song is a message to his fans & friends saying he knows it. It's painful to listen to so I'm glad the "Keith Richards of industrial metals" wised up and cleaned up. Well done sir.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
