Out of Range Lyrics

Leaving town I found a flower that I could deserve
Someone moves and someone's bound to get their feelings hurt
I'm loving you, you're out of range
Wanted you you're out of range

As I walked out into a world I feel a sudden chill
I was bleeding put it good onto a daffodil
Loving you, you're out of range
Wanted to, you're out of range

I don't want too much more than
Than to be reborn in the morning
Reborn so I can feel you
The thorns of Bougainvillea
I feel you

I have your number and I dialed it up a hundred times
Barely there, your voice is crackin' up across state lines
Loving you, you're out of range
Wanted you, you're out of range

Skies of ecstasy we're breaking well I do believe
The tears of God were falling down upon my swollen cheeks
Loving you, you're out of range
Wanted you, you're out of range

I don't want too much more than
Than to be reborn in the morning
Reborn so I can feel you
The thorns of Bougainvillea
I feel you

I know it hurts when it's taken away
I tell you that I could be living
Today with you or without you, ok
Washed by the rain and it's all gonna change

I don't want too much more than
Than to be reborn in the morning
Reborn so I can feel you
The thorns of Bougainvillea
I feel you

No sir, not too much more than
Than to be reborn in the morning
Reborn so I can feel you
The thorns of Bougainvillea
I feel you

In my perspective, the best song ever created by anyone, anytime!

It's definitely a tough one to decipher as many here have tried. It definitely ties into both love and addiction. I choose addiction of love.

Think of when you are with someone you love an you are attached to them. You feel addicted to their mere presence. They complete you and provide that natural high. Maybe to Anthony, it reminded him of the heroin high he used to get. Longing for something/someone you know you can't have makes him yearn for that feeling to want to be with them.

Only he knows in reality what he's trying to say. The beauty of music is that people interpret it and relate to that interpretation. If you've been in love with someone you met out of town, or have ever been an addict, this song speaks to your heart.

Embrace it, love it, and more importantly, jam to this amazing musical masterpiece!!!

Literally it seems to be about his girlfriend moving away, so far that it's difficult for them to see each other. This fits in with the 'dial your number and i dial it another hundred times...etc' line. On the other hand it could be about a drug addiction, about wanting to be 'reborn', and 'i was bleeding pretty good onto a daffodil' (and it is pretty good on put it good, soz to be anal.), that also seems to be a reference to the drug addiction tainting the woman Anthony's with... well not so much tainting her, but maybe worrying her or spoiling their relationship. Depends how you look at it.

Distance from his girlfriend makes sense. I mean just look at the title.

I wish they had put this on their album. Where did you all get it? I want to find some more music they didn't put on an album.

I think its more of Anthony seperating himself from something. He says "your voice is crackin' up across state lines", implying that the distance from whatever he's talking about is making the voice of the object hard to understand.

This could be multiple things, if you ask me. It could be a girl, or his seperation from heroin, or from former band mates such as Hillel Slovak.

However, I doubt this is about drugs, from the heavy notions of love. The notions do not exclude Hillel from the picture though.

All and all, its about seperation from the love of something, and how he selflessly ignores the object, saying "I tell you that I could be living Today with you or without you, ok".

Whatever, thats just what I got.

The "ok" in this line, "I tell you that I could be living Today with you or without you, ok," sounds very sarcastic to me. I don't think he's ignoring the person (or object, although I think it's clearly about a person), I think he's saying he can't really live without them.

yea it sounds like a girl that moved away so he can no longer be with her...

and I think "reborn so I can feel you" should be "reborn so I can't feel you"

thats what it sounds like, and that makes alot more since (he is sad about lossing the girl, and it would just be eaiser if he didn't remember her)

It seems to be about him going on tour and Yohanna moving out of his house at the same time. He didn't want to break up but it was the best thing for them at the time.

P.S.- INviszion you would be alot more convincing if you spelled since correctly. Make sense?

i think it's obviously about someone moving. it says it right in the lyrics. "someone moves and someone's bound to get their feelings hurt"

anyways, great song.
