Let's Call It Off Lyrics

When you decided to knock on my door
Did you remember what happened before
It just didn't sparkle it just didn't glow
Some things are not better inside of the store

Did you agree we should let it bee
And did you agree
It's a must
Let's call the whole thing off
Will you still have enough of us
Let's call the whole thing off
Will you still have enough of us

I know many people who act the same way
Relations that lasted for more than one day
But I don't wanna know why we couldn't do more
Some thing are not better to leave unexplored

Did you agree we should let it bee
And did you agree
It's a must
Let's call the whole thing off
Will you still have enough of us
Let's call the whole thing off
Will you still have enough of us

this is about a relation ship that has ended and he's talking to the girl and saying "you remember what happened last time we were in a relationship and it didn't turn out so well" and that reason is because they got tired of each other and they don't know why it all failed,or why they just don't feel the same as they use to so..and also they don't want to know. it's like saying let's just kill the whole relationship thing between us once and for all.

this song is about dating a long time close friend, finding out it's not going to work, and breaking up. thus ruining the friendship. because you can never truly be friends again after dating, no matter what anyone says.

It's a song about breaking up (as is most of the album) but the Girl Talk remix is killer! Seriously, if you are a PB+J fan go out and get that Girl Talk remix.

well, i don't know if i'm right, but i think this song is about a one night stand. it seems to me that he's explaining to the girl that it wasn't the same way for him....something like, "we should be friends, blabla".

i love these drums so much! =)

i also love this song and i agree, girl talks remix on this is great, probably because its more upbeat, but its still the same song, not some weird remix that transforms the song into something totally different from the original. but i have do disagree with the comments posted. I actually think this is about a non-existing relationship. they both met before and had a casual fling, maybe a one-night stand. but it just didn't do it for him. he remembers not seeing anything that special about her, so why bother having a relationship now? everyone probably has gone through this: you meet someone and it looks promising, but soon you realize that theres no chemistry ("it just didn't sparkle, it just didn't glow", "some things look better inside of the store"). so hes suggesting that they shouldnt even try to have something together("some things are better to leave unexplored"), based on their previous experience. i mean, if it didnt work then, lets just call it off now!

I love this song. And I think it's maybe "it's a bust," not "it's a must." Maybe. Haha. At least, that's how I think of it.

The part "Some things look better inside of the store" and "Some things are better to leave unexplored" is saying that relationship didnt work, and to try it again would be stupid and a waste of timeand that it wasnt meant to be.
