I've gone for too long
Living like I'm not alive
So I'm gonna start over tonight
Beginning with you and I

When this memory fades
I'm gonna make sure it's replaced
With chances taken, hope embraced
And have I told you

I'm not going
'Cause I've been waiting for a miracle
And I'm not leaving
I won't let you
Let you give up on a miracle
When it might save you

We've learned to run from
Anything uncomfortable
We've tied our pain below
And no one ever has to know

That inside we're broken
I try to patch things up again
To calm my tears and kill these fears
But have I told you, have I

I'm not going
'Cause I've been waiting for a miracle
And I'm not leaving
I won't let you
Let you give up on a miracle
When it might save you

It's not faith if
If you use your eyes
You'll lie
We'll get it right this time (This time)
Let's leave this all behind
Oh, I will get it right this time
It's not faith if you're using your eyes
Oh, I...

Well I've gone for too long
Living like I'm not alive
So I'm gonna start over tonight
Beginning with you and

I don't want to run from
Anything uncomfortable
I just want no
I just need this pain to end right here

I'm not going
'Cause I've been waiting for a miracle
And I'm not leaving
I won't let you
Let you give up on a miracle
'Cause it might save you

Yeah, it might save you
Oh, it might save you
It's not faith if you
If you use your eyes
If you use your eyes
If you use your eyes

i think this song is about a relationship where both of them have doubts, but shes saying, i know if we stay together its going to save us, so im not giving up and im not letting you do that either.

this is my favorite song lyrically on the cd. its a great song about keeping strong and not giving up because of something stupid. i loveeee it. =]

You people make me laugh. First of all. She says "I'm not going" & "Im not leaving" so we already know shes not giving up.

The first sentence of the song describes what its going to be "I've gone for too long living like I'm not alive" & The song title "Miracle"

This song is obviously about God. I've felt so many times in my life that I go too long without contact of Jesus & you dont feel like you're alive. "Its not faith if you use your eyes" That screams christian.

Hayley talks about her struggles and how she needs to be obedient and that she needs to start over and she wants to recieve her blessing or miracle.

    So, am I right?

this is like saying that she knows she has messed up and done the wrong thing.

I think it is rediculous how all of you think only one of you is right. All of you are right with your oppinions on the meaning of this song but wrong in thinking its the only way anyone could or should interpret it. I personally have looked at it in the christian and secular way. No song can have just one meaning around the world. Depending on ones mood or waht they are going through in life it could be your coming to or back to God or working out a relationship. And word to the wise people...even God dislikes a smart ass know it all. Makes him look bad

    My Interpretation

I think this song is about a relationship, i'm going to go right ahead and assume that its from the girl's perspective, only because its sung by Hayley Williams, who is in fact female.

I've gone for too long Living like I'm not alive So I'm gonna start over tonight Beginning with you and I

Both parties involved suffer from the common self-esteem issues (i'm not good enough for anyone, no one will ever love me, etc.) and as a result they go through life depressed. When they find each other, they finally realize they can be loved, so they decide to try and remake themselves.

I'm not going 'Cause I've been waiting for a miracle And I'm not leaving I won't let you Let you give up on a miracle When it might save you

However, the guy in this situation may have relapsed, and started to push away the girl because he doesn't think that she really loves him. She responds by saying that she won't leave, and won't let him give up on this when it might save him, and her as well.

We've learned to run from Anything uncomfortable We've tied our pain below And no one ever has to know

She wants him to open up to her and let up the pain that they have previously just pushed away, and together they could deal with it. Instead of just running away from anything uncomfortable like they are used to.

Just my humble opinion. thanks for your time!

Sounds like she's saying 'I've realised nothing is ever going to be perfect, but I can keep trying to make it better. I'm not gonna give up. Things hurt, but that's okay, it's normal, I want you to realise this too.' I think it's an amazing song. Both lyrically and the music itself. I love it so much. I could be wrong..

it seems as though the person in the song is started over, starting from scratch and wants to do things right this time.

seems like she's been waiting for something for a long time, it isn't happening, so she needs a miracle for it to happen, and she's not gonna give up

    i love hayley =] &paramore.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
