Come Around Lyrics
Check my coat in and I paid the dollar,
Sidekick rings, "what's up? holla!"
Text the address, I'll see you later
Baby come down
Come down, come down, come down
run down, run down, run down
Run, make a run, make a run, make a run, make a run, make a run down
A dun da da dun da da dun da da dun da da dun dun
Beat goes on
A dun da da dun da da dun da da dun da da dun dun
Beat goes on
Ray-Ban shades, warheads laid
Babies born in air raids
My girls run the Everglades
Indian tribesmen gamble spades
Indian chicks, they get men laid
Milk and honey, smoke high-grade
Gold and diamond, gems and jade
Ride up on our tanks, invade
Blow up thing to save our nam
Mina, Rina, Tina, Sabrina
Being a super Indian babe
We black market, we black made
We hit shit out when it rains
Would you come down and catch my train?
Would you run down and play this game?
Sidekick rings, "what's up? holla!"
Text the address, I'll see you later
Baby come down
Come down, come down, come down
run down, run down, run down
Run, make a run, make a run, make a run, make a run, make a run down
A dun da da dun da da dun da da dun da da dun dun
Beat goes on
A dun da da dun da da dun da da dun da da dun dun
Beat goes on
Baby girl
You and me, need to go to your teepee
The moon is full, and I'm shining.
Baby, I know you see me.
Put a hump or two on your back
Jst like that
Oh girl you're on fire.
I don't wanna be in love with you
Imma just break you off and say goodbye
The night is young
Don't make me wait,
You just might miss your chance.
I'm gon' tell you the truth
Timbaland, I'm the motherfuckin' man.
Today's the day, girl, let me get that
Don't get mad
In fact, let me hit that
I've been overkilling them, I break backs
Come down, run down
Girl, where your place at?
Check my coat in and I paid the dollar,
Sidekick rings, "what's up? holla!"
Text the address, I'll see you later
Baby come down
Come down, come down, come down
run down, run down, run down
Run, make a run, make a run, make a run, make a run, make a run down
A dun da da dun da da dun da da dun da da dun dun
Beat goes on
A dun da da dun da da dun da da dun da da dun dun
Beat goes on
Don't get it twisted baby girl, baby boy 'cause Timbaland ain't dead

seriously his rap is awful... i like to think she's letting him make fun of himself with it. i finally edited the rap out so i don't have to skip over manually every time i listen to it.
Could you PLEASE send that version to me? I hate the part where timbaland comes in!! >.< gah, it ruined the whole song for me.

The only thing I don't like about this song is Timbaland. His hooks at the end r catchy but somehow I wish he'd find another way 2 address MIA besides "baby girl"
The beat I like.
I also like how Timberland seemingly ignores whatever context is put before his rap to do his usual stick of half-flirtation with whatever singer he's preforming with.
this song would about 110x better if tim didn't rap on it. "we need to go to your teepee?" gtfo.
I'm embarrassed for Timbaland. It's sad that he doesn't even realize how stupid he sounds in this song, trying to sound clever; even worse than his raps in Futuresex/Lovesounds.

hahah... the skanky rap bit so fucking schizos up this song but it's actually getting funnier the more i listen to this album.
Okay. I just google searched this song and the first 20 to 30 results were "Timbaland feat. M.I.A." That annoys me.
I think the reason Timabland ruined this is
- You associate him with meet-on-the-dance-floor-and-hook-up-promiscuous-girl songs. So it automatically ruins the vibe of the song.
- She was singing about things that are actually meaningful, and then he comes in and talks about hooking up. RUINED.
Timbaland needs stick with bullshit artists like Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake.
I agree with Frictional here, i don't think timbalands lyrics are unintentionally ignorant.
I was always baffled by the inclusion of timbaland's verse but i read an old article by politico claiming mia was "clowning" him and that makes sense. They mention she took a dig at other superstar rappers on other Kala tracks but im not sure which lines theyre referring to.
