A Dream So Real

I was there to see this debuted at Alpine Valley 8/26. It is a eerie and kind of dreamy song, and still has a long way to go in development, but I think it had real potential. FYI, both nights at the Valley this year were AWESOME!! Between the two nights (Sat/Sun) we got: Loving Wings, Song That Jane Likes, Sweet Up and Down, and Shotgun. Not to mention opening with Dreaming Tree (Sun) for the first time ever! And a wicked collaberation of Eh Hee w/ the Roots! I love DMB!!

damn you. i wanted to go to Alpine this year SO BADLY. i heard that was the last time DMB is playing there. please don't tell me it's true?

Great shows indeed. And no its not the last time they're going to play there, unless this is there last year on tour.

Heard this for the first time in Charlotte on Wednesday... beautiful. For those that haven't seen DMB in person... wow. It's definitely an experience that you don't want to miss. I was front row, center stage... and wishing I had a particular friend their to share it with. It's amazing that they opened with this song. The person I wanted to go (and couldn't) is the one that I remember as making me smile.. making me laugh.. and I was always telling him it's the little things in life that are the most important. Anyways.. such an amazing experience for me. With a little bit of luck... I'll have his arms around me again someday... maybe at another DMB concert... wouldn't that be nice?

Dave has such a beautiful way with words. I seriously love every one of his songs. There's one I can relate to in every situation of life.

During the times, when life can be bring fears to mind, I know I grasp and hang onto the moments that have positive substance to get my mind off the fears that enter my mind. As a wife, parent, daughter, etc., it is my faith and the little things that keep me going. Peace and grace to you all.
