how cute would it be if someone sang this to you?!

To me this means that a lot of people act like middleschoolers in love in how after a week they're willing to say I love you. A lot of relationships are ruined because so many people rush into things that can wait. Have you ever daydreamed about the person you wanted to marry and then finally met them... because that's what this song seems to be about. The singer finally met the one he wanted and she was just perfect. That is such a wonderful feeling and this is one of my favorite songs.

nikham3, I agree 100%. I actually experienced what this song is talking about this summer and I had never been so happy. The tragedy in it for me is that I met this person on a long vacation and we were separated. What I like is that they talk about waiting for that person and finding them. I waited 20 years without hope and found it in him, even though it couldn't last. I heard this song during that time, so it holds a bittersweet feeling for me. But always lovely nonetheless.

This is a beautiful song about someone who was eager to find the right person and fall in love and finally did. He says he's glad he waited for her to come along because she proved to be the right one. "I swear its you that my heart beats for and it aint gonna stop" is like THE best line there.. It expresses his neverending love for her.... brilliant dedication if you're truly in love with someone..

I think it's about someone who've been looking for the right person to come along. And maybe he always had a certain person in mind, but they were always taken. [with someone else] But they ALWAYS had feeling for them, and once that other person realized she cared about him too. He talks about how glad he is he "waited".

This song is so cute and beautiful. I'm listening to it right now; this may be my fav from the album. I agree with nikham3 on this one. I had this dream one time about this guy whose face I couldn't see, but him just being near made me happier than ever. Even with his face blinded out with a white sunburst, I could tell he was smiling at me, like I could just feel that he was. I have this weird feeling I'll meet him soon, and when I see him for the first time, I'm gonna fall hard. This song is about seeing the one.

Ahh, such a great love song. I secretly dedicate this song to this one person in my life, and the lyrics fit to my situation perfectly! "I swear it's you that my heart beats for; and it ain't gonna stop" soooo true. Too bad mine isn't such a happy ending :(
