A giant bright eagle has come
On me and taken away my universe
I find myself in trouble now
I put my soul in irresponsible hands

Exhausted I no longer try to reveal myself
And I no longer want to free my soul
But I must not forget all what I did for us
This way I feel myself irreplaceable

You had finally come to death
And you will never come to life again
Burn ego's black reality
Bring on the light I want to see your face

I feel the end is near for me my world goodbye
People of the dead, I join you
In this confusion I don't even recall my name
There is something inside I want to reveal

I feel like I'm a part of this
And this a part of me
I know one must have confidence
I will overcome

From now on I'm "this", and not "me"
I feel like I'm rising from the dead
From up here I see my inner world is dying
I'll overcome my pain

'i put myself in irresponsible (human) hands.' at one time he was enlightened but he couldnt help put himself in human hands. 'exhausted I no longer try to reveal myself' and emotional exhaustion, probably from the stresses of approaching the end of life he lost his goal to free his soul and free himself from worldy desires and suffering. In the next verse he admits his closeness to death and that no matter how important anyone is they will face death. 'Burn ego's black reality' He is forced to face death and he loses his individual pride and realizes that he is a part of the whole. Of nature, of the life process. In this way he feels raised from the dead because he is no longer bound by fear of death. He is freed from it.

The title 'death of me' could behis literal process of facing his iminent death or it could be a metaphor for the death of his old worldly view for his new enlightened philosophy.

Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

The Night We Met

This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
