Cherry Cherry, Boom Boom
Gaga

Boy, we've had a real good time
And I wish you the best on your way, eh
I didn't mean to hurt you
I never thought we'd fall out of place, eh, hey

I have something that I love long, long
But my friends keep a-tellin' me that something's wrong
Then I met someone
And eh

There's nothing else I can say
Eh, eh
There's nothing else I can say
Eh, eh
I wish he never looked at me that way
Eh, eh
There's nothing else I can say
Eh, hey

Not that I don't care about you
Just that things got so compliquées, eh
I met somebody cute and funny
Got each other and that's funny, eh, eh, hey

I have something that I love long, long
But my friends keepa' tellin' me that something's wrong
Then I met someone
And eh

There's nothing else I can say
Eh, eh
There's nothing else I can say
Eh, eh
I wish he never looked at me that way
Eh, eh
There's nothing else I can say
Eh, hey

(Eh, eh, eh, eh)
(Eh, eh, hey, yeah)
I have something that I love long, long
But my friends keep a-tellin' me that something's wrong
Then I met someone
And eh

There's nothing else I can say
Eh, eh
Eh, eh, eh
There's nothing else I can say
Eh, eh
Wish he never looked at me that way
Eh, hey (ooh, yeah)

There's nothing else I can say (eh-eh)
Eh (eh-eh), eh (eh-eh)
Wish he never looked at me that way (eh-eh)
Eh (eh-eh), eh (eh-eh)
There's nothing else I can say (eh-eh)
Eh (eh-eh), eh (hey)
Cherry Cherry, Boom Boom
Eh, hey
Oh yeah
All I can say is, "Eh-eh"

    My Interpretation

this will make more sense to you if you watch the video as well:

to me, this song and video is lady gaga poking fun at the typical pop song. thats why its overly-happy, and the lyrics are things like 'eh eh'. lol look around 1:10 - this is quite an obvious jab at the cliched bed scene that they all do. at the end she says "all i can say is eh eh" - this shows that she doesnt have anything useful to say. (i mean she does really, but her persona in the song - the typical pop singer that she is trying to characterize- doesn't)

lady gaga does a lot of mockery, which is why i like her! - 'beautiful, dirty, rich', and 'love game' are obviously mockery when you watch the videos as well - just a tip!

She said in Denmark that the song was about how she dated two guys at one time and one guy said "GaGa! What do you have to say for yourself?" and she replied "Eh, there's nothing else I can say"

I always thought she was going through a rough patch with her guy and she meet someone else in the middle of it..she feels like she is supposed to feel bad but she kinda doesnt care because it wasnt working out and her friends agree...so shes like "eh...sorry"

This song is def a twin to "Unfair" (a song she has been quoted as saying is about falling in love with someone who is already in a relationship) so it is presumably about the same person. Given the references to buying an apartment and not being able to see her love interest "after tonight," it's most likely that she's moving away and she'll "wait a day to break the bad news" (i.e. notifying him that she's leaving once she's already gone). And, of course, the fact that she sees in him a fellow "idealist" and "dreamer" (terms commonly given to people with the INFP personality on the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)) portends that she'll always be left wondering if they would've been perfect together.

Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
