I feel and think that this song is about feeling that your life is peaking, and that you don't want it any other way (listen to the Streets "wouldn't have it any other way" on this topic). The narrator in this lyric doesn't have to be a player in my opinion. I think that he doesn't care about anything but this love, who he wants to stay with. I think this song describes really well how it is to be in love with "the love of our life".
