Oh, oh, oh

What a world that I'm livin' in,
Will the rainstorms ever end?
Steal I feel my, path narrow, I run again,
Seen happiness is gone again,
And then you see 'em,
Grey clouds up above mane,
Metaphor to my life mane,
Still feel my heart stronger then it's ever been,
Strong will til my journey ends 'till then I roll,
More then I've ever rolled
Not pills but the Mary though
Still I feel my eyes heavy when the days goes,
Nothing helping with my head dose, but I ain't sleep,
Awake in another state,
Livin' in a new space,
Still I feel my mind runnin' at a steady pace,
God help me so I'll win the race

'Till then I go
The sky might fall
The sky might fall
But I'm not worried at all
C'mon c'mon
The sky might fall
The sky might fall
But I'm not worried at all

Hey, hey
I let them know somethin', I let them know somethin', I let them know somethin'
You can listen up, listen up, listen up, listen up
Hey I let them know somethin', I let them know somethin', I let them know somethin'
You can listen up, listen up, listen up, listen up

Grey clouds stuck together fam,
Lining piercing to another land
Over the desert where the lost play,
Sole searching each and every way,
An then you see tha,
Awesome sounds so profound,
When it, it'll grip you, you can see it,
If you hear you can feel it too,
Somethin' special I am runnin' to,
'Till then I go, away very far away,
To another universe where all the people say,
Its the new new place for the special to embrace,
Like a martian you seemingly,
Wandered out the place,
Take what you need from the valley of the hopeful,
Even if you drown you'll be floatin' higher above it,
You can say bye bye bye,
Sky might be fallin' but remember you can fly high.

The sky might fall
The sky might fall
But I'm not worried at all
C'mon c'mon
The sky might fall
The sky might fall
But I'm not worried at all
Hey, hey
I let them know somethin', I let them know somethin', I let them know somethin'
You can listen up, listen up, listen up, listen up
Hey I let them know somethin', I let them know somethin', let them know somethin'
You can listen up, listen up, listen up, listen up

I keep runnin'
Yeah I gotta keep up I gotta keep up yeah
I gotta keep up I gotta keep up
And I keep runnin'
Yeah I gotta keep up I gotta keep up yeah
Gotta keep up I gotta keep up yeah
'Cause I'm gone
Yea na na na na, I'm up and away
Na na na na, know'm talkin' bout, hey, hey

Its a feel good song. Fairly typical of Cudi though he executes it perfectly. Well produced.

ive seen cudi perform this song and it has so much meaning. love the lyrics and his flow. i think its about not being worried about your surroundings or letting them pull you down. you can still accomplish what you want despite the circumstances.

I guess the meaning is something to do with getting high and forgetting the worries of the world. and meditating ;]

this album is great not just because of the clever lyrics and indie pop hooks; he strikes a perfect balance between strength and vulnerability throughout the album, which I think is something rare in hip hop and rap today). this song is a kind of motivational celebration of human potential, whereas songs like " Day N Night" and "Heart of a Lion" express themes of loneliness, discontent, adversity etc. I think it could prove to be a seminal album in hip hop

I feel like this song is basically Cudi saying he doesn't care what's happening in the world because he's so caught up in his depression.

this song means to live everyday to the fullest because who know? the sky might fall today and the world may end at once. however he (cudi) has already lived his life to the fullest and has no regrets. So he wouldnt even vare if the sky fell. because he can die knowing that he wouldnt do anyhthing different.

    My Interpretation

I think you are all missing something in the lyrics..I'd listen up.. Some in this life are vessels of a message.

Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
