Bad Kids

I almost feel like this song was written in the perspective and from her LMs and the verses could very well be things she's heard them say to her, as children and young people of today's suppression. And then the chorus is her response. It almost even sounds like it could be a duet between lovers. Its amazing.

As for all of Born This Way, I love that there's some cuteness harkening back to The Fame like this and Fashion of His Love, and some darkness like The Fame Monster...but then the message is different, even the sound is so advanced. Basically, BTW fucking rocks.

Anyway. Gaga was made for a rebel anthem.

I'm not trying to offend anybody here---I am bisexual myself--- but I've been listening to this for a week now and I keep hearing "You’re still good to me if you’re a faggot baby"

Ah! This is very strange, but on my copy of the album, the booklet has an extra verse that talks about a meat dress....but its not in the song??? Does anyone know anything about this?

This song describes the hardships of young people who are labeled as "bad kids" and don't seem to fit anywhere in society, thus, Lady Gaga uses words like "twit", "rebel", "nerd" and others to relate to those who are "outcasts".

She's said that for this album, she was inspired by Little Monsters at The Monster Ball.

I think this is song is pretty cheeky and sarcastic. Like what people think about Little Monsters based on the superficial - because of the way we dress and express ourselves - that we're bad kids. When in reality, we are good and really don't do anything wrong just by choosing freedom. (i.e. "I'll hold my breath" being the only threat.)

And obviously Gaga sees how beautiful we are on the inside, and the beauty in our freedom of expression.

I think it's lovely that she wrote this for us.

I love how this song is so tongue-in-cheek but it still means what it's saying. Like GaGa and her Little Monsters, it's got a message to put out and wants to have fun, but it doesn't take itself too seriously.

So catchy.

I think it's GaGa's way of saying to her fans that no matter how "bad" or different you are, what people may judge or perceive you as, you shouldn't beat yourself up as long as inside you're a good person.

I absolutely love this entire album, she's amazing.

But does anyone else hate the line "My parents tried until they got divorced ‘cause I ruined their lives?"
