Racatacata, cuncunpra
Ya los cueros te llaman, te llaman
Racatacata, cuncunpra
Los cueros te llaman, te llaman

Yesterday Yesterday I found the flower that you gave me An image of the love that you offered me It still faithfully keeps its scent, that tender carnation Yesterday I found the flower that you gave me

I still keep that letter that you wrote to me In a passionate red, it had a mark Your signature next to the carnation made me sad I still keep that letter that you wrote to me

Come back, please, since life is very short Let's work out the doubt and the rancour. "Very well" says the singer, the past is not important Of all, our pride is the worst. Let's renew the passion since life is very short Let's fill our hearts with warmth

Our being longs for the scent of forgiveness The perfume of the hopes of a new dawn The freshness of spring for all eternity Our being longs for the scent of forgiveness

    {Verses 3,1}

Get up and have a good time because life is short Cheer up, in the end nothing else matters (lit: the rest is not important) Listen well, without fear, to what life teaches, gentlemen Do not get hurt again (lit: look for another wound) by the same mistake, listen well

Get up and have a good time because life is short Cheer up, in the end nothing else matters Throw away all troubles now and look for the good life With affection and harmony like water and sand, how good!

Get up get up and have a good time because life is short Cheer up cheer up yes sir for in the end, nothing else matters Liven up, shake, get closer without a problem, family Racatacatá, cun, cun, prá Now the cueros* are calling you, they are calling you

Classic love story true to his western tx roots. One of my favorites as a story, but I think there are alot of songs that are amazing not even listed on this site. I guess I should figure out how to add them, because I have about 8 REK cd's.

Warren wanted a Beach Boys thing for this one, and Carl Wilson and Billy Hinsche came in, with Carl arranging the vocal parts. The other harmony vocalists (credited as the "Gentlemen Boys") were Jackson Browne, J.D. Souther, Zevon's longtime backers Waddy Wachtel and Jorge Calderon, and Linda Rondstadt/Stone Poneys guitarist Kenny Edwards.

Corpse I Fell In Love With
Gadjits, The
He reuses the verse melody from the previous album's "Dirty Little Religion", the topics of the verses are all over the place, and he packs too many words into one line (goes to show...) and too few in another (it's pretty hard to find), and rhymes "Henley Regatta" with "Persona non grata", but gets away with it all as only he could.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.
