Clap Your Hands Lyrics
What I mean is I need the good things
I'm finding the light in the good things
I've might need help to see the good things
Oh, oh, make me
Get out and wiggle it, oh, oh, oh
Turn the lights on my nights this is life
And we only get once chance
Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands
Come on dance, take a chance on romance
We only get one shot at love
Turn the lights on my nights this is life
And we only get once chance
Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands
Come on dance, take a chance on romance
We only get one shot at love
Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands
I'm finding this might be a good thing
Oh, oh, make me
Get out and wiggle it oh, oh, oh
Turn the lights on my nights this is life
And we only get once chance
Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands
Come on dance, take a chance on romance
We only get one shot at love
Turn the lights on my nights this is life
And we only get once chance
Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands
Come on dance, take a chance on romance
We only get one shot at love
Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands
Clap your
Clap your
Clap your
Clap your
Turn the lights on my nights this is life
And we only get once chance
Oh, clap your hands, clap your hands
Come on dance, take a chance on romance
We only get one shot at love (x2)

Sorry guys!
Sorry guys!
I think the song's about being in a dark place but finding the person who is able to get you out of it, and taking a chance on romance.
Don't bullshit the lyrics. It's annoying.
As for the actual song itself, I feel Sia might be talking about her experiences as a performer (clap your hands) and how singing and entertaining for others gives her a positive outlet (Shake me out of my misery, make me get out and wiggle it).
I like how she announces it at her gigs: "This is Crap Your Pants" :-)
This song has really grown on me. I got it on a free compilation CD and at first I thought it was just a silly dancing tune. But Sia has a lovely, lively voice, the lyrics go beyond happy-happy-joy-joy and the rhythm never gets boring. It's hard not to start clapping along, even if you're listening on your headphones in the middle of the night in a thin-walled apartment. (Yeah, if I really listened to the song, I would go out.)
