Ain't nobody who's as good at what I do
Cause one minute she loves you, the next she don't
She's been stolen from you
Seduction, seduce
Ain't nobody who's as good at what I do
Cause one minute she loves you, the next she don't
She's been stolen from you
Ain't nobody who's as good at what I do
Cause one minute she loves you, the next she don't
She's been stolen from you
Seduction, seduce
Ain't nobody who's as good at what I do
Cause one minute she loves you, the next she don't

i love this song, one of my faves on the album. i just love the intensity that Em has on this record. this song has to be about Mariah. if it is, he owns Nick Cannon.

it is a song about other rappers. When I first listened to it i thought it was about a chick..then he started ussing Jay-Z's trademark on Blueprint 3: The "Aughhhhh"...So I did some research and looked around on the internet...This whole song can be interpeted as a message of shots at Jay for something he said about him on a song called "A Star is Born"
firstly remember Jay-Z is always saying hip hop is his chick...
Jay-Z on blueprint 3 'A Star is Born': "but what Em did was silly, the WHITE BOY blossomed after Dre endorsed him, his flow on Renegade, f-cking awesome, Applaud him," (its a shot saying eminem is famous because of his skin color and saying he beat him on the song renegade but eminem isn't better than him..he just had sick flow on that one song they shared)
Eminem on 'Seduction': "You wear your heart on your sleeve, I sport that WHITE tank BOY But you got a hard on for me, what you hollerin' my name for?" (notice the hidden white boy reference)
He starts the song with saying: Psychological Warfare (A hint at an underlying meaning) (and if its a song about a chick why is he talking about competitors?)
Throughout the song he does Jay-Z's trademark from Blueprint3 the "Aughhh"
I’m the logo on that Dallas Cowboy helmet, a star (The song Jay mentioned him on was a star is born)
And I’m not about to sit back and just keep rhyming one syllable, nah (Jay-Z once said he chooses simplicity over lyricism because people understand it better)
And things just ain’t been the same since the day that I came forth (Ever since eminem out-shined Jay-Z on renegade its not so easy to put Jay over him)
That hater alarm is sounding off, and Obama took the bomb from my name, aww (Jay-Z hung out with obama at the white house)
Switch it up and watch them haters not give it up, cause they’re just not good enough But I’m not giving up til I get my respect, and I won’t stop til I get enough Cause I’m not living up to my own expectations, aww (This random rant just doesn't fit unless he's talking about hip-hop)
So quit crying that I took your dame, homie she’s my dame, aww (Maybe also hinting at Dame Dash)
She brings my name up constant ur boys are like she f**kin wit dude she want son (Eminem is always on the ever debatable list of best rappers)
u better get a clue (People often think Jay-Z was making his best music when he was with DJ Clue)
And lastly the hook: Ain’t nobody who’s as good at what I do Cause one minute she loves you, the next she don’t She’s been stolen from you, it’s like a…(verbal seduction)
Basically what I get from this is that hes saying he's taking hip-hop from him. Fans are easily persuaded and one minute everyone is raving over you (BP3) and the next they aren't because em dropped recovery and now nobody is even talkin bout Jay.
Its very debatable, gathered a lot of this randomly off the internet. Figured it was worth sharing. Aughh!
and I figured also:
and I figured also:
"It's quicker to count the things that ain't wrong with you than the things that are" hes talking about his rap career. He's been a freestyle battler, sold millions of records, hes by far a lyricist..

This song is not dissing Jay-z. Eminem and Jay-z have a "Renegade" concert tour together both in the Yankee Stadium and in Detroit. How can they be feuding.

Secondly, Eminem cites Jay-z as a rapper that he looked up to, upon excepting an award in 2002, Eminem read off a list of rappers that he inspired...Jay-z was one of them.

Thirdly, on the "A Star Is Born" track, Jay-z was praising Eminem. He was paying homage to Eminem. Jay-z said "The White boy blossomed after Dre endoresed him", this in no way was a diss. In other Jay is basically saying that that the "white boy" meaning Eminem, was finally being looked at as a credible rapper after Dre said he was. AND Jay-z admitted to the fact that yes, Eminem's verse on Renegade was great, better than his!
Fourthly, Eminem was basically speaking about how he seduced the rap game. When Eminem said he's not going to sit back and just rhyme one syllable, he was talking about how HE RHYMES. Eminem has made many references to how he uses "compound rhyming" in his songs. In his track "Yellow Brick Road" on his "Encore" album he said that he rhymed "birthday" with "first place". In other words he saying he's not your typical rapper.
Eminem saying "You Better get a clue" is to vague to even be connecting with the fact that it has something to do with DJ Clue.
When he said Obama took the bomb from his name, really had NOTHING to do with the fact tht Jay hung out with Obama. He's saying that, as an artist Eminem used to be protested against because he words were so called "vulgar". Now Obama is the one that people protest against because of this and that. So that's why he said that "Obama took the bomb from my name". No longer are people focused on what Eminem says (because we embrace him more) but now they are focused on what Obama says and scrutinizing every word.
And Please, Eminem is not referencing Dame Dash. Why would Eminem take Dame Dash? Jay-z don't even want Dame Dash, he wound't be crying if Eminem took away Dame.
Lastly, Eminem and Jay-z are known friends at the end of the day, that's why they're doing this Renegade concert. And Eminem is talking about he seduced the rap game. augghhh, (my hand hurts from typing so much. You made me write an essay lol)

Then why the obvious trademark off blueprint3. the "aughh". Why does he say "I'm on a whole different page". and whos he talking to when he says "What you hollerin my name for?" He accepted that award in '02. A star was born was last year.

eh.. is this mariah
thats what i was thinking.. :\
thats what i was thinking.. :\

It sounds like this could be a song that's not about a girl at all. It sounds like Em is personifying the rap game as a girl that he keeps stealing from other rappers. He keeps talking about being the best that there is.
Talking about other rappers losing the game:
"Loosin up with a little freestyle. By the way, am I losing you? Am I makin you look bad? Well I got news for ya, homie, ya losin her."
Talking about how other rappers are gonna hate their own material as soon as they hear Ems and know that they can't compete:
"It's still gonna be a blow out. You're gonna wanna throw out your whole album. Might mist through the shit, and try to salvage something to see if you can save any of it, punk but none of it's fucken with me."
Saying that there are way more terrible rappers in the game than there are good ones, and that Em has taken over the game since he first came out:
"She say's it's quicker to count the things that ain't wrong with you than to count the things that are. There's a seven disc cd changer in her car, and I'm in every single slot, and you're not"
There are definitely other references in the song, if you read it back and think from this point of view you'll catch some of them.
Em got real deep on this album, he's hidden a lot of messages behind the words. Sometimes he lets you know what he's really meaning, like on 25 to life, and other times he leaves it open ended for you to interpret, like on seduction and space bound. Unbelievable album, I put it second behind MMLP.
i agree. although, it could be a response regarding mariah. i don't think he would want to give her that big of an ego. he already went there, slaughtered her man and returned.

It's definitely a response to Nick Cannon.

i dunno it sounds like a response to nick cannon or a song directed at all males. he could be saying this like he could get any girl to leave her guy, everytime she listens to him she wishes it was em instead.

lyrics are wrong
wrong:I'm cockin my head back like "hey lover, come on son
Correct: im cockin my head back like ed lover come on son
wrong:She's fucken wit dude. She wants him."
correct: she fuckin wit dude she want son

That was interesting reading jaymc & EminemJayZFan4Ev. That just shows how great of an artist Eminem is to leave such a song as this (which I thought was clearly a blow at Nick Cannon myself) up for personal interpretation. Rap songs normally don't have this kind of depth. For fans to go through the trouble of researching an artist's history and background to find an underlying meaning shows you just how much depth there really is in a song.

actually yeah, he does speak about kim and his daughter in one of his songs "going through changes" which was an amazing song by the way.... I'm a big fan of his new album this has to be the best yet. this song however i can't seem to point out who he could be talking about.... i personally think it's no one.. just rap game in general.. he's just trying to bring it back and he's doing a damn good job at it... i give him big props......
