Oh no, did I get too close?
Oh, did I almost see what's really on the inside?
All your insecurities
All the dirty laundry
Never made me blink one time

Unconditional, unconditionally
I will love you unconditionally
There is no fear now
Let go and just be free
I will love you unconditionally

So come just as you are to me
Don't need apologies
Know that you are all worthy
I'll take your bad days with your good
Walk through this storm I would
I'd do it all because I love you, I love you

Unconditional, unconditionally
I will love you unconditionally
There is no fear now
Let go and just be free
I will love you unconditionally

So open up your heart and just let it begin
Open up your heart and just let it begin
Open up your heart and just let it begin
Open up your heart

Acceptance is the key to be
To be truly free
Will you do the same for me?

Unconditional, unconditionally
I will love you unconditionally
And there is no fear now
Let go and just be free
'Cause I will love you unconditionally, oh, yeah

I will love you (unconditionally)
I will love you
I will love you unconditionally

i think that katy perry tells us in this song when you find someone that is in an unstable condition, it dosents matter you can love him. you are unworthy you are useless but i love you anytime that i see you. you can change your bad days with new one and change your destiny. i love you and this can lead us to being happy.

    My Interpretation

I've never really listened to the lyrics of this song untill I listened to a youtube artist do a cover it. I then looked up the lyrics on here to see if anyone had the same interpretation as me. As there were only two comments, I decided to add my interpretation.

When I was listening to the song, I found myself thinking of a very dear friend of mine. He's the only one I have spoken to in depth about my mental issues, mainly due to the fact he also has mental issues. When I looked up the lyrics I realised why.

This friend of mine, I have become really close to. I love him as a very close friend and this song says it all. I will love him unconditionally.

I have seen all his "insecurities", his "dirty laundry" and it "didnt make me blink one time" because I know what its like to have all these things to deal with in your head.

"I'll take your bad days with your good, walk through this storm I would, I'd do it all because I love you, I love you" I'll take the bad days because they're a part of us and the good days are worth the bad ones anyway.

"Acceptance is the key to be, to be truly free, will you do the same for me?" He seems to do the same for me. He looks at my insecurities, my dirty laundry without getting horrified by it. He takes my bad days with the good all because he loves and cares about me and knows exactly what it's like.

So in conclusion, to me, this song is about accepting and loving someone with mental illnesses. Knowing and uderstanding that they have issues they have to deal with on a day to day basis and you judging them and looking down at them, just makes everything worse for them. It's surprising how many peopple actually do look down on and judge you. And that just makes you feel even worse.

    My Interpretation

I think Katy tell us to be free, accept and just love everyone who's out there, cuz love can really save a life and make us feel just unconditionally loved. This song is my favorite ever, atractive and epic!
