Lost Cause Lyrics
It's not me you'll save
Cause I'm a lost cause
I'm a lost cause
A lost, lost cause
Makes me think that I might be okay
The kiss of death will have to wait
My head, is holding on to all those things you said
You taught me to be strong and get through it,
The mist of darkness in my head
It's not me you'll save
Cause I'm a lost cause
I'm a lost cause
A lost, lost cause
You are here to make it safe and sound
Oh we, can make it, out alive
Fate, hath its way when all is done and said
Nothing really matters in the end
As long, as you, are with me, friend
It's not me you'll save
Cause I'm a lost cause
I'm a lost cause
A lost, lost cause
Like you can understand
No one can fill your shadow
Cause you are all I am
It's not me you'll save
Cause I'm a lost cause
I'm a lost cause
A lost, lost cause

my opinion is that the conscience is having an argument. his conscious side says its over and its done.there is no chance.his unconscious side says wait! no,there is a chance this fight is not over. fight.fight.FIGHT!

Not to be depressing... This song makes me think of someone who is extremely depressed or considering suicide. They don't fit in socially, and haven't had enough good experiences in life. There's that one person who knows them and cares for them, but they passed away. They had told the person to not think of themselves like that, to push away such bad thoughts and ideas. But after dying, the person was so sorrowful that those words were forgetten. The person is alone, thinking to themselves about how useless they are. As they only dig themselves deeper, memories of the one who cared for them come back. Deep down they want to listen to them and continue for them, but it's just not possible. The song ends with them "sinking helplessly" into what seems to be their shallow grave. The whole time they've been begging for it all to just be over, for someone to put them out of their misery. And since the one who understands will be with them when they die, they make the final decision. They know they are nothing to anyone else, and will at least be with the one they care for. Well... That's what I think of.

He is struggling through mixed feelings about the disease he has and is scared. Sometimes he feels he is an as warrior while at times he feels hopeless. We have Ankylosing Spondylitis. It can be depressing and you have mixed feelings.
