Repair Lyrics
it's okay.
You look like someone else
seasons change, you're not the same
in your head, I'm cast aside
I'm taken by surprise
when I stare into your eyes.

This is a perfect song to close the album, and it really works well in contrast to Zoom. And I think as a cap to the album it's kind of reflecting on how we happen upon the revelation that someone isn't as perfect as we thought they were. "It's easiest to say we are young, it's okay." That's kind of the scapegoat; she was never perfect, but he was too young to realize it at the time. And "seasons change, you're not the same" is saying time changes people, and sometimes not for the better. I also really love "In your head, I'm cast aside," because it sort of reinforces the quasi self-loathing aspect of the album. It's rationalization. And then the closing line, "Can you be my hardest decision?" What is he deciding, exactly? Perhaps it's a relapse, he can't tolerate the idea that he can't have her, so maybe it's a question of whether to give it up or try in spite of what the reality may be.
