So its about a love quarrel between to guys and is sung from one of the two's views, but can tell that the other is feeling the same pretty much.

Sounds like a misunderstanding between two people and that one of them is reflecting on the misunderstanding and wondering if they are the one responsible for the lover's quarrel. The way you do when you fight with your loved one.
"It's in the lover's eye...Is when I need you most"...honestly I am done. I cannot relate to the words for obvious reasons. She cannot conquer her fears now or ever. There exists no reason to continue...none. That's what it is about. Honestly, I am done.

For the love of...it is NOT about a "love quarrel between to [sic] guys".....Dan Reynolds is an incredibly "spiritual" person....the song describes someone facing a life obstacle and is arguing with himself if it's HIS fault or "god's" fault that he keeps missing the message of what he's supposed to do now.
I think it is the writers guilt maybe, they are quite conscious whether or not it is their fault, but they want to know if it is their fault, as this problem clearly means alot to them and it involves someone that means alot to them
I think this song is about having messed something up that meant a great deal to you at one stage in your life.
Pretty sure this was written while the band was far away from home for a really long time.

And he's so desperate to know whether or not it's his fault In my opinion, I think that this was written while the band was on tour. Maybe Dan was missing his girlfriend back home or something while they were far away, across the ocean. He's looking across the ocean and asking "Is it my fault?" because he can't see her because Imagine Dragons got famous enough to do concerts that were that far away from home. Just my take on it.
It is a song about love. Whether that's love of god or a man or a woman. When you love something you see that person or thing in everything. The singer is blaming himself for physical, emotional or spiritual distance. Either way it's a beautiful song.
He was just diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. He was wondering if he did something to cause this terrible disease.
