High heels, no clouds
Sun kissed in cloud
Can't stop, slow down
I want you, I want you

No call, no rain
One kiss, no pain
Tell me again
I want you, I want you

You don't wanna talk, then you wanna talk
Then you wanna tell me I'm not and to move along
Then you wander back in my heart like a bitter song
And we're never done 'cause I need your love, I need your love

California, Hallelujah
You and me are gonna live for today girl
I'm the luckiest man in the whole world
Stole my heart but can't afford ya
All I know is I'm with you today girl
I'm the luckiest man in the whole world

Lies you don't keep
Hurt and I'll bleed
But you're so sweet
And I want you, I want you, yeah

You don't wanna talk, then you wanna talk
Then you wanna tell me I'm not and to move along
Then you wander back in my heart like a bitter song
And we're never done cause I need your love, I need your love

You don't wanna talk, then you wanna talk
Then you wanna tell me I'm not and to move along
Then you wander back in my heart like a bitter song
And we're never done cause I need your love, I need your love, yeah

California, Hallelujah
You and me are gonna live for today girl
I'm the luckiest man in the whole world
Stole my heart but can't afford ya
All I know is I'm with you today girl
I'm the luckiest man in the whole world

C'mon, c'mon, I see it in your eyes
C'mon, c'mon, just love me for one night
C'mon, c'mon, I see it in your eyes
C'mon, c'mon, just love me for one night

California, Hallelujah
You and me are gonna live for today girl
I'm the luckiest man in the whole world
Stole my heart but can't afford ya
All I know is I'm with you today girl
I'm the luckiest man in the whole world

California, Hallelujah
Then you wander back in my heart like a bitter song
And we're never done cause I need your love, I need your love
Stole my heart but can't afford ya
Then you wander back in my heart like a bitter song
And we're never done cause I need your love, I need your love

    My Interpretation

This is about someone he may have taken advantage of their emotions and maybe would not commit to and she keeps wanting him but keeps trying to let go because she thinks it is best to even if it is hard. He may not have realized how much they had but she finds it hard to let go thinking he will change his mind but then something makes her see it is still the same. That first love feeling where you are drawn to each other like soulmates but one is not ready for the energy of the two when thy are together. Maybe she just feels he will be better off with someone else because she doesn't feel she can give him what he wants even though she keeps trying over and over to talk about things. Hoping it will change at some point then it is the same once again. He feels a deep love and sees it but men don't feel emotions like women what he is experiencing is the moment the visual aspect but he is not aware of her thoughts maybe he needs to truly listen deeper to her words since she is always wanting to talk but then changes her mind back and forth. Usually, a sign of one feeling like they are doing all the work but in a sense, neither one is relating to on the same level.

Warren wanted a Beach Boys thing for this one, and Carl Wilson and Billy Hinsche came in, with Carl arranging the vocal parts. The other harmony vocalists (credited as the "Gentlemen Boys") were Jackson Browne, J.D. Souther, Zevon's longtime backers Waddy Wachtel and Jorge Calderon, and Linda Rondstadt/Stone Poneys guitarist Kenny Edwards.

"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
