Bad Habits

I love this song and this is my first comment in songmeanings, so I hope it\'s nearly as good as the ones I read before I had an account :)\n\nMaybe I\'m reading too much into it but, for me the song is about that things that trigger us, how we handle and accept them.\n\nEvery time you come around, you know I can\'t say no\nEvery time the sun goes down, I let you take control\nI can feel the paradise before my world implodes\n\nWe all have something tempt us, it can be a vice but not necessarily. It can be some situation we can\'t resolve, something that makes us feel angry, fear or discomfort. And when it comes, we react the same way, we just can\'t help it!\n\nAnd tonight had something wonderful\n\nBut this time, there\'s a good story behind or at least there\'s something we should pay attention - maybe the song haha\n\nMy bad habits lead to late nights ending alone\nConversations with a stranger I barely know\n\nOur bad habits - our bad way of react - lead us to fight, to lose people or to disagreements. Maybe we make things we wouldn\'t do everyday or we shouldn\'t do, as talk to strangers or maybe it\'s about trying to resolve the problem and ask for help\n\nSwearing this will be the last but it probably won\'t\nI\'ve got nothing left to lose, or use, or do\n\nIt\'s a pattern that happens again and again and we know\n\nMy bad habits lead to wide eyes staring at space\nAnd I know I lose control of the things that I say\nYeah, I was looking for a way out, now I can\'t escape\n\nAnd it\'s in these moments when we can look further at things, we can have a wide view, we think a lot too.\nSome of us talk without thinking and want to escape of this situation but we all know we can\'t at the moment.\n\nNothing happens after two\nIt\'s true, it\'s true\n\nThere\'s a quote that says \'Nothing good happens after 2 am\', I think this part is a reference but he prefers to say \'nothing at all solves after 2 am\'. Like \'better go to bed, try to relax, there\'s nothing you can\'t do right now\'.\n\nMy bad habits lead to you (ooh)\n\nOur way to react lead us to something, whatever it is. Everything affects everything. Sometimes leads us to something bad and sometimes the outcome is good. Only looking back we can say.\n\nEvery pure intention ends when the good times start\nFalling over everything to reach the first-time spark\nIt started under neon lights and then it all got dark\nI only know how to go too far\n\nWhen this happens, it doesn\'t matter if we had good intentions. It happened and we need to deal with that. Also we are reluctant to accept advices or care.\nWe try to do everything to feel ourselves again ignoring that we aren\'t the same anymore. Life changes us all the time. Who were we in the first place?\n\nWe took the long way \'round\nAnd burned \'til the fun ran out, now\n\nWe went through a lot of things and explode at some point and till some point. There\'s a limit, we all have it.\n\nMy bad habits lead to you\n\nFinally, for me the message is that those moments show us to who we truly are now and can lead us to good outcomes.\nIn distress we show who we are and what we don\'t like and can\'t stand. And not always this is a bad thing or a weakness.\n\nMaybe these bad habits or the things we or someone else doesn\'t like about us - as being too sensitive, too anxious, too shy, too impulsive - are ours for some reason and it can lead us to make good changes in our lives and in the lives of the people arround us. \n\nThey lead us to \'you\', to connect with ourselves right now and to make some changes if we want to.\n\nHope it helps :)\nxoxo from Argentina
