Wow... What makes you guys think this song has a meaning? If you know Gorillaz you would know that when Damon sings it live he changes the lyrics every time. To me this song is like I Am The Walrus by The Beatles has no god damn meaning! You guys are just wasting your time trying to analyse the lyrics. And it is called Punk because it sounds like a Punk song and Gorillaz arn't really Punk,

i thnk they were going for the ironic thing...i still like,,,it reminds me of this local band that gets drunk before each show... they're terrible but they're really funny...especially the drunken ramblings....
The song is like one minute, high tempo, you can't make out the words...Punk's a perfect name...I like the fact that they use production effects (turntables, synth) in the song which are comletely un-punk.
Love this song.. Gorillaz rock and this is one of my favourite out there! The speed of it and everything really makes the song what it is.

I don't think these lyrics are correct, but from what I've seen/deciphered myself I think its about a girl (obviously) and he neglects here or isn't able to get her and then committs suicide. I don't know thats just the feeling I get from what I know is right.
