I try to think about rainbows
When it gets bad
You got to think about something
To keep from going mad

I try to think about big fat roses
When the ship starts going down
But my head is wicked jealous
Don't want to talk about it right now

Long distance, don't talk about
Ex-girlfriends, don't talk about
You without me, don't talk about
The past

In my head, it's only in my head
In my head, it's only in my head

There's just something about you
That gets me in a twist
And sometimes I think that cupid
Is just taking the piss

It only takes one though or idea
To send me in real deep
So if you think you're clever
Use the right words when you talk to me

Long distance, don't talk about
Ex-girlfriends, don't talk about
You without me, don't talk about
The past

In my head
It's only in my head (only in my head)
In my head
It's only in my head (only in my head)

In my head
It's only in my head (only in my head)
In my head
It's only in my head (only in my head)

I really think I have a problem
I really can't control myself
Why do I get so suspicious?
Do you want someone else?
'Cause everybody wants everybody else
Everybody wants everybody else
Everybody wants everybody else
Everybody wants everybody else

(Only in my head)
It's only in my head

In my head
It's only in my head (only in my head)
In my head
It's only in my head (only in my head)

Long distance, don't talk about
Ex-girlfriends, don't talk about
You without me, don't talk about
The past

Lets talk about the future
Lets talk about the wedding
Lets talk about Gwen Stefani
Let's talk about how much you like me
And all that

I didn't really like this song until I saw them live. A lot of the new No Doubt is better live.

I definitely like No Doubt's older stuff better, although I really love Return Of Saturn. This album is great as well, but you have to like this style of music. I'm glad that my music style is eclectic, so I can like all of No Doubt's stuff :) This is my first time hearing this song, just now. It's pretty cool.

this is simply about jealousy, the jealousy that we don't talk about, the things that we can stupidly get jealous about. When your loved one or someone you crush on talks about who they like, when your girlfriend blushes at another guy, when your girlfriend just talks to another guy. When your girlfriend talks about the future and does not mention you. THe dumb little things that you let eat you up inside, and why, cause it is only in your head.

This song is pretty obvious - as are most of No Doubt's songs. I have felt the same way (as what this song is about). Some topics of conversation can ruin the mood.

This song is my theme song.
"in my head it's only in my head in my head it's only in my head " to me means that whatever is making me jealous isn't actually a problem and i'm only making it a problem in my head.

Anyway, i love this song <3

This song is definitely about jealously about your significant other's past. Its about how they can say something to ruin your mood and how it just in your head. Sometimes when you find out something about there past it can put you in a real bad mood and you get jealous. You only want to think about your present and future time with that person.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
