Maybe I've forgotten
The name and the address
Of everyone I've ever known.
It's nothing I regret.
Save it for another day.
It's the school exam and
The kids have run away.

I would like a place I could call my own,
Have a conversation on the telephone.
Wake up every day that would be a start.
I would not complain of my wounded heart.

I was upset you see,
Almost all the time.
You used to be a stranger,
Now you are mine

I wouldn't even trust you.
I've not got much to give.
We're dealing in the limits
And we don't know who with.
You may think that I'm out of hand,
That I'm naive, I'll understand.
On this occasion, it's not true.
Look at me, I'm not you.

I was a short fuse
Burning all the time.
You were a complete stranger,
Now you are mine.

Just wait till tomorrow.
I guess that's what they all say
Just before they fall apart.

this is a cover of a New Order song...i think it is about someone who is going through changes...they used to be a little messed up and they are trying to reinvent themselves...start new...and they have found someone they love to help them...

I love this song because like Amunkey say that is a song about someone going through changes that they are trying to make sense of.

Well, ehh.. I dedicated this song to my ex., and it I think it meant loving someone you don't really love... or.. something... .. .. . nevermind :-(

i love this song. it's my favorite! the words are beautiful and i feel the exact same way..sort of..i partially agree with kabong ei that it is about someone you didn't really love but thought you did and you couldn't make sense of anything and everyone does say wait till tomorrow but why not just say something today? i dunno that's what i think

this song really relates to the fact that there's someone who you're friends with, that you want to make more than friends with "You used to be a stranger, now you are mine " but i could be wrong, but really its all how this music is interepreted by the listener and how he/she wants to apply it to their life. this is how it is for me-- might be different for someone else

so yea.....the get up kids should be shot for covering new order. what the hell were they thinking? eudora is nauseating not so much because it's as bad as all the other get up kids albums, but because they covered some amazing artists and managed to make them sound just like all of the other get up kids schlock. the pixies? DAVID BOWIE? come on kids.

I think this is a good cover. Though, it's also a New Order song I wasn't familiar with prior... anyway. I think it's about growing up & seeing someone you knew in the past. You love them, but you're unsure. It was probably someone you thought was out of your league in high school type dealie. You think you're stronger now, but are you really?
