In Your World Lyrics

I'm hurting you again
Too lonely to pretend
Like everything is new
I promise you to
Blow it all away

In your world
No one is crying alone
In your world
No one is dying alone

Too broken to belong
Too weak to sing along
I'll comfort you my friend
Helping you to
Blow it all away

In your world
No one is crying alone
In your world
No one is dying alone

That's an easy one, I feel so identified. He's talking about a person who doesn't want to accept the real sore life, and makes up an own inner world in order to escape from it, a world where everything is good, and no one is able to hurt you. I'm happy to have guess the lyrics, I got exactly the same. ;)

this song is amazing. even though the lyrics are simple. i've got two opinions on what this song is about-

  1. this guy has got a friend who is addicted to drugs that make you feel happy, and this guy is trying to help his friend who is so addicted to drugs he doesn't know what the world is really like, and this guy is basically telling his friend that he'll help him get through it.
  2. this idea is basically the same as Nihil, but then again maybe not. this person who is in his/her own little world where everything is perfect, and this guy is trying to make that person see that the world isn't really like that. he is doing this so that he/she doesn't get more hurt in the long run.

this song is amazing!! they are such simple lyrics but mean a lot at the same time. i think the song is about a guy that is addicted to drugs therefore always in his own little world where everything is fine e.g. 'no-one is dying alone' this guy has a friend who is telling him to get off the drugs and that he'll help him through it, even though it will hurt him now it won't in the long run. that made sense in my head, but now that i write it down it doesn't

This song reminds me of a girl i know who is totally delusional.

In her world she is perfect and everything happens exactly as she wants it to.

Even when reality blatantly contradicts her she has conditioned herself to alter her memories until the past is only what she wanted it to be.

The scary thing is this can happen in less than a day. My friend spent 2 months trying to break up with her because she would freak out every time and leave then come back having forgoton what had just happened.

At this point im one of the few people who will still speak to her and she usually outright hates me because i bring her back to reality for a bit trying to help her and she cant handle it.

Thus to me this song is like every conversation i have with her.
