Jon:
This Town is our town, So mutherfuckin' glam...

Jessicka:
We all know the chosen toys,
Of paddy girls,
And pretty boys.
Make up that face to win the race,
Life's a bitch in this town,
Suck my dick in this town.

This Town is our town,
It is so glamorous.
I'd bet you'd live here if you could,
And be one of us.
This Town is our town,
So fucking glamorous.
I'd bet you'd live here if you could,
And be one of us.

Change our minds like we said before,
We're all dreamers,
With our Whores!
Discarded souls like worn-out cars,
Litter the streets of,
This Town,
Litter the streets of This Town.

This Town is our town,
So fucking glamorous.
I'd bet you'd live here if you could,
And be one of us.

Both:

This Town is our Town,
So Motherfucking glamorous.
I'll bet you'd live here if you could,
And be one of us.

Jessicka:

Break it down boys,
Human race in the house.
Human race in the house.
Human race in the house.

Here we fucking go!

This Town is our town,
(Our town)
So fucking glamorous.
(Fucking glamorous)
I'd bet you'd live here if you could,
(If you could)
And be one of us.
(One of us)

Both:

This Town is our Town,
So Motherfucking glamorous.
I'll bet you'd live here if you could,
And be one of us.

Jessicka:

This, Town.
This, Town.
This, Town.
This Town!

it does sound alot like kittie...I know it's not JOJ. But during one part of the song they do say "human waste's in the house" (at least that's what I think she says, and what other ppl have said she says) so I think it's probably Human Waste Project, and she just sounds like the girl from Kittie.

i downloaded this song and it said Kittie feat. Korn so I always thought it was kittie. Ive never heard of Human Waste Project but maybe your right but Kittie is the most famous Chick Metal band out there so i think its probably Kittie.

yea actually it IS human waste project. why else would she say "human waste's in the house"? unless kittie just wants to promote a different band. but that's kind of stupid isn't it? heh.

it's human waste project. on like kazaa and music downloading programs like that people have said it was korn and joj, korn and kittie, korn and bif naked..and a bunch of other female bands/singers, but it is in fact aimee echo of human waste project & korn. not kittie. not joj. just because kittie is "famous" doesn't mean it's kittie singing this song. theres a line that says "human waste is in the house" so that's kind of proff that it's hwp and not kittie or anyone else..

Battle Royale
Word Alive, The
This song is def a twin to "Unfair" (a song she has been quoted as saying is about falling in love with someone who is already in a relationship) so it is presumably about the same person. Given the references to buying an apartment and not being able to see her love interest "after tonight," it's most likely that she's moving away and she'll "wait a day to break the bad news" (i.e. notifying him that she's leaving once she's already gone). And, of course, the fact that she sees in him a fellow "idealist" and "dreamer" (terms commonly given to people with the INFP personality on the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)) portends that she'll always be left wondering if they would've been perfect together.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
