Shai is an evolving singer, songwriter, producer, & director who has no intention to stop his creativity where it is. Growing up in San Antonio Texas and Savannah Georgia, Shai did not have any intention of being a musician throughout his childhood. Not until he discovered himself via music. Shai felt he was going through an identity crisis and he found himself through artist’s such as Prince, Jimi Hendrix, Frank Ocean, Miguel, and Kanye West. Fast forward a few years after his love for music settled in, he learned production, guitar, and piano. Soon Shai then went on to sing on top of everything to try and be more like the artist’s who formed him as a person. Music has given Shai a balance of confidence and vulnerability, a feeling that Shai wants to share with the world.
