About Three Cheers
Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge was MCR’s major-label debut, despite being their sophomore effort. It was released June 8th, 2004 with Reprise Records. The release is a concept album telling the story of a man who makes a deal with the devil to be reunited with his lover, who he thinks has died. He must kill a thousand evil souls, and in the end, he must kill himself to fulfill the deal, making it impossible to see his wife again.

In honor of the Black Parade reissue coming out in September, I thought it would be cool if we did a My Chemical Romance cleanup! I’ve been cleaning up their discography over the past few weeks, but with four studio albums, a greatest hits collection, two live albums, and numerous EPs, there is a lot to fix. Would anyone be up for it?
I was thinking we could have a few “meet-ups” along the way to hang out and work together to make the job fun. I’m gonna start up a Google Hangouts group text for anyone who’s interested, and maybe we can play some online games every once in a while. There could also be listening parties for each album — maybe a different album each week? Then we could clean up as we listen, not only providing some nice background music but also engaging potential new fans.
