About Three Cheers
Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge was MCR’s major-label debut, despite being their sophomore effort. It was released June 8th, 2004 with Reprise Records. The release is a concept album telling the story of a man who makes a deal with the devil to be reunited with his lover, who he thinks has died. He must kill a thousand evil souls, and in the end, he must kill himself to fulfill the deal, making it impossible to see his wife again.
